Welcome to Meritown

Welcome to Meritown is the newest project I’ve been working on. I wrote it myself, and am currently in pre-production. We are currently raising funds through Allyra, if you’d like to donate!

We are also hosting two fundraisers in June to raise funds for the film.

Fundraiser Night 1: June 11

Night 1 of the fundraiser will take place in the mixing room and theater of Encantada Luxury Apartments (5750 S. Houghton Rd) from 6:00-9:30 PM.

Synopsis

In the make-believe idyllic American village known as “Meritown”, everyone is polite, diverse, accepting, self aware, and respectful. However, when newcomer Ben enters Meritown Diner, board member Andrew has a few questions.

This tense encounter tests the limits of the expectations we have for each other in a society, and what it could look like if everything was “perfect”, but in Meritown, the cost of perfection is higher than you might think.
