Can you tell I love the films of David Lynch but also Disney?
If you didn’t pick that up immediately, no biggie. But seriously, I saw Frozen 2 and was very into it… I have this thing I do where I airdrum to songs, but throw in extra bass hits and basically make everything sound like it was supposed to be in a metal song. When I heard “Into the Unknown” on the Frozen 2 soundtrack, this was no exception ( just ask my wife). Thats kind of how this ice tunnel idea came about.
I watch a lot of tutorials on how to create Cinema 4d projects, and a lot of what I see tends to have a ‘look’ where theres really intense color highlights, a VHS effect, and it progresses forward infinitely into a small nondescript light source. I wanted to do something with a more tactile effect while still looping forever.
David Lynch’s Lost Highway title sequence is one of my all time favorites- so when I figured out that I coulld create a kind of headlight effect by having the light source follow right in front of the camera moving down the tunnel, I was so stoked.
Thanks for watching!
