I love creating looping animations like this one I did for Tucson based band Spider Cider for their song “New Mexico”. I see a lot of looping animations like this on the internet that feel unabashedly 80’s, typically for synthwave type artists. I wanted to make one that reflected my southwest-style nostalgia of floating down a giant river surrounded by giant cliffs.
